Before playing professionally, Bernard attended the University of Toledo and earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. He later earned his master’s degree in Business administration from Wayne State University located in Detroit, Michigan. He is a former school teacher and auto dealership sales manager.
Bernard has the designation of resort and second home property specialist. He credits his communication skills and his ability to build rapport with clients no matter the circumstance as one of his greatest assets.
When not selling real estate, Bernard enjoys the simple things in life such as weight training, yoga/meditation, symphonies and volunteering in the community. He is a member of several community involvement and scholarship-funding organizations. His work ethic, attentiveness and friendly demeanor has helped him prevail in real estate.
